Yeelight Led Rgb 220v E27 Wifi Unboxing

Specifications
The Yeelight has built-in Wi-Fi and uses 9 watts according to the product specifications manual, so they are quite energy efficient. They claim that the lamp has a shelf life of 11 years (should last 25,000 hours).

These lamps are RGBW, so you have up to 16 million different color options including pure white. The temperature of the light is also adjustable (1700 to 6500 Kelvin).

Let's connect the lamp to a lamp holder and see how it works.

Installing the Yeelight application
Because it's a Wi-Fi-connected device, you'll need to download the Yeelight app from the Android Play Store or the iOS App Store.

Once the application is installed, apply power to your lamp. The next thing you need to do is open the application and create a Mi account.

After you create your account, tap the Add device button, select the color of the LED lamp, and then you must turn the lamp on and off 5 times in a row until you enter the reset mode. Click Next and select your device.

Finally, choose your network and enter the password. Wait a few seconds while the lamp connects to the router.

Recommended Modes
Let's take a quick look at what you can do with the application. If you select the Yeelight colored lamp, a new page will be loaded with the Recommended modes. It has sunrise, sunset, movie and so on. You also have a slider at the bottom to control the brightness.

Color picker
Select the Color tab in the upper right corner. With the color picker, you can quickly apply a new color to the lamp. You always have the slider to adjust the brightness.


Timers and Timings
The app also comes with an adjustable timer that turns off the lamp when the timer expires. You can set times, so Yeelight calls at a specific time and repeats a certain task as you wish.

Come sempre Xiaomi offre un rapporto qualità/prezzo eccellente, in questo caso queste lampadine offrono le stesse funzionalità delle Philips Hue ma ad un prezzo minore e senza la necessità di acquistare un Hub centrale per comandarle.
Il loro funzionamento è semplicissimo basta collegarle alla presa e possono sia essere utilizzate come lampadine tradizionali tramite l'interruttore, sia come lampade smart controllandole tramite Wifi con l'applicazione apposita. Le applicazioni con cui possono essere controllate sono sia Yeelight che Mi Home, configurarle è facile, basta seguire le istruzioni nelle app, inoltre è possibile creare delle stanze in modo da poter controllare più lampadine unitamente, la latenza dei comandi è minima e dipende sopratutto dalla qualità della propria connessione wireless.
Posssono anche essere comandate tramite google home in modo molto semplice e offrono anche l'integrazione con l'applicazione IFTT dando la possibilità di creare comandi del tutto personalizzati (ad esempio io ho impostato che la lampadina si accenda ed aumenti la luminosità un quarto d'ora prima della mia sveglia, oppure ho impostato google home in modo da avviare determinate scene come tramonto, alba, film, etc...).
La luce emessa è ottima, nel mio caso utilizzo un'unica lampada per illuminare una stanza di 2,5x4,2m, può emettere sia luce calda che fredda oltre che moltissimi colori essendo RGB.
L'attacco è di tipo E27.
Unico punto a sfavore è che in determinati tipi di luce, sopratutto quella bianca fredda, presenta un lievissimo fischio, nulla di fastidioso però.
Consiglio a chiunque voglia affacciarsi al mondo della domotica senza spendere troppo.
