LED Water Faucet Automatic Color Change Temperature Sensor - Silver 1Pc
This item functions as described.
Begins as (Blue=Cold) then becomes (Green=Warm) finally becoming (Red=Hot)
Less impressed the product is chrome-painted plastic. Risk of permanent thread damage due to over-screwing the plastic fitting into the metal tap spout.
However, for the cost, learn to live with it and be reasonably 'gentle' while physically screwing the device in knowing you could damage it by over torquing.
Water flows 'nicely' through the spout resulting in coloured spray.
My intended applcation was based upon my plumbing installation uses a Bosch pilotless gas demand hot water heater. It functions igniton via an integral impeller dynamo which generates energy for sparking.
Once you demonstrate the function of this LED-coloured water temperature-reactive device, and the time the duration from turning the water tap 'on' to the arrival of warm water, you can demonstrate the heat function via the colour without having to go verify the Bosch water heater is indeed functioning.
changing 3 colors blue for cool green for lukewarm red for hot
there is a small whistle sound when operating in high pressure. if the faucet runs slowly there is not enough power for the led to glow. hot = red color is rarely seen even in really hot water (it stays green) if you stop the water and open it again it might start in red.
It's working properly. Changing the color depend on the temperature. Really fun to use it. Easy to install, strong stream of water, fit great in my bathroom. Looks sound so far. Product as described. Very nice gadget for little price.
It's a clever gadget, I like the water turbine to power the led. The problems I have are that the thread is a bit weak, so be careful not to cross thread like I did. Also the temperature of my tap doesn't seem to trigger the red colour. I do have a tempering valve, but it still gets hot enough that you wouldn't leave your hand there too long. I'd have thought it would go red by then.
The description says: "One size fits on most taps with its universal 2.4cm outer diameter"
But this is simple not true as my water tab connection is a male M22 and the product's connection is a male M24, so you need a female M24 on your water tap to fit. Luckily, you can buy all sort of connection adapters on Aliexpress for a few euros.
Kaufempfehlung!
Fits well for the 2.4cm outer diameter. Colors change as it is written. When it's cold it's blue, when warm - green and hot turns red. Works really fine. But there is one but. You have to let the water flow harder for the lamp to light. If the water runs just a little it won't light up. But in the end it's a cool gadget for the price :)
Color change accordingly with temperature (blue, green, red, from cold to hot) the material is light and the measures are small so it won't extend your faucet at all

an adapter is necessary for most appliances (male to female connector adapter)
Works only if the water flow is strong enough (needs some power to light up :) ). Colors change when the temperature changes, blue for cold, green for warm and red for hot - but it turns red only when water is really hot. If you turn it off and on at hot water it will probably start with red.
The product fits ok. It is made entirely out of plastic so be careful, do not tighten too hard or using a wrench. The colors are: - blue for cold - green for average (good temperature to wash your hands) - red hot - blinking red very hot! I would have liked to see also intermediary colors...
