It's made of flexible glass so it is protective. It fits tightly with a nice set of clips to hold the case closed so there is no fear of the case falling apart. It doesn't stain and it is easier to clean than the pokeball itself, so a life saver on that front. And it even allows charging without getting the ball out of the case. All in all a perfect permanent case that is a must have product for every pbp user
