2. Perfectly sized to take my Eneloops without crushing them. Any standard AA or unprotected button top 14500 cell should fit. Flat top cells and protected 14500 cells are unlikely to work, however.
3. Can be dismantled with a 2mm hex bit, making it easy to modify. Be careful to reassemble correctly if you do this. Some of the PCB pads are connected by tracks within the PCB, so you'll short out your cells if you get it wrong!
3A. You could bypass the springs and PCB tracks with flexible wire if you needed a high current battery carrier.
3B. You could also convert it into a Parallel 3 AA Holder by moving one of the springs so that they're all at one end and wiring the PCB pads in parallel at each end.

1. As others have noted, the polarity markings are reversed on some of these. Before you use them, put some cells in and check the polarity with a voltmeter.
1A. If you need to, remark them with the correct polarity (a silver Sharpie is good for this).
1B. Alternatively, take them apart with a 2mm hex bit and swap the black plastic end caps over.
2. Over time, the positive pads on the PCBs may be subject to wear, because they're copper and therefore softer than the steel cell buttons. It might be worth tinning the pads with solder, especially if you happen to be modifying one of these anyway.
Not a lot to say, thankfully. I mean, it's a battery holder for flashlight. Works as advertised. Arrived with no problems, I put batteries in, hooked it up to a small propeller and everything worked as it should. Good product and pretty cheap, can't complain about anything!
Really well built and great materials. Decently built AA battery carriers are so hard to find at a reasonable price. Thank You GearBest for supplying these :-)

All were built Backwards, thus the review title. Had to change all the + and - marks on the end plates with white marker, to avoid blowing up any flashlights! Thankfully I'd checked them all with a Volt Meter before fitting in anything :-) Slight raising of the screws on the ends, not a problem for my uses, but some have had to tighten them down for clearance purposes.
