Set quality is OK, but the padlock is kinda useless
So overall the set quality is fine for the money. BUT padlock is useless for practice cause it gets easily raked when you try to single pick... And the doublesided lock is kinda strange - with included hooks one side is completely useless to learn single pick cause the deepest pin can't be raised with included hooks :D best lesson here is you need more picks :D so again: overall quality and stuff is fine. but it's far from a good variety (just 2 nice single pick hooks), couple nice rakes but the rest are just fillers.
also shipping issues but can't hold that over GB too much considering the times we live in.
My dad wanted learn how to open damaged or stuck locks. This set was perfect choice. With some practice he managed to open our old garage backdoor lock, so it can be replaced with a new one, with messing up the whole door.
You can pay a lot for a lock-picking set. This is identical to the more expensive versions and every bit as good. Still can;t open every lock, but that is down to me rather than the product. Made a great gift
very nice fit and finish, exactly as advertised. tolerances are decent for the price and it makes a great practice lock to help understand picking. Great starter kit
